Principles of Newman Catholic Ministry
- Commitment to serving NCM members, UT Dallas, and the Dallas community
- Maintain good academic standing within University Policies
- Act with camaraderie and respect towards all officers, members, and the UTD community
- Expected to attempt to live out the teachings of the Catholic faith to the best of their abilities and to encourage others to do the same
- Show enthusiasm for being in Newman Catholic Ministry

Responsibilities for All Officers
- At least one member of each team attends weekly Officer Meetings
- Full team meeting once a month
- Make a reasonable effort to attend NCM events
- Help with NCM Night (Sundays) and big events - set up and clean up
- Create a gmail account (if you don’t already have one) and stay up-to-date on all NCM Google Docs and communications through Google Drive
- Teams will make their own flyers and send them to the Operations Team to post on social media

Duties of the President
- Checks in with other officers to make sure everything is going smoothly
- Works with FOCUS missionaries and UCC to ensure consistent and accurate communication
- Leads weekly officer meeting
- SOC Representative
- Sign and submit forms to participate in UTD sponsored events
- Keeps track of finances (with assistance from Vice President)

Duties of the Vice President
- Book EMS rooms
- Manage budget (with assistance from President)
- Check email on a frequent basis
- Risk Management Representative
- SOC Representative – attend monthly SOC Meetings or designate another officer to attend
- Collaborates with the President on necessary tasks
- Ensures other officers fulfill their responsibilities along with President

- 2 Officers
- Sunday Mass
- Manage Social Media
- Send out weekly emails
- Take pictures at events
- Music Ministry

Duties of the Prayer Chair
- 2 Officers
- Leads Rosary at least once a week
- Plan & lead Lectio Divina
- Responsible for Lector, Sacristan, & Altar Server
